You can permanently delete your Global Prayer Altar account and associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.
Delete from within the app (recommended)
- Open Global Prayer Altar and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Do not have the app installed?
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address on your account and we will process your deletion request, usually within 7 days.

Removed permanently: your account and login, profile (name, photo, bio, country, phone), direct messages, voice notes and images you sent, personal prayers, bookmarks, prayer-chain participation, notification tokens, and other data tied to your identity.
Kept, but anonymised: prayers and testimonies you shared with the community remain on the altar so others can keep praying, but they are no longer linked to you(your name is removed).
Donation/transaction records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, with personal identifiers removed where possible.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are completed within 7 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
