Welcome to Global Prayer Altar. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully.
1. The service
Global Prayer Altar is a Christian prayer platform offering a continuous voice altar, a prayer wall, direct messages, testimonies, scripture reading, devotionals, and live-streamed services. Features may change, be added, or be removed as the app develops.
2. Eligibility & your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live).
- You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Community guidelines — zero tolerance for objectionable content
You agree not to post, send, or share content that:
- is hateful, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence or discrimination;
- is sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate for a faith community;
- is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights;
- impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation;
- solicits money from other members, spams, or advertises;
- shares others’ private information without consent.
4. Reporting, blocking & moderation
Every place you can see another member’s content, you can report it and block the person. Reports go to our moderators, who review them and may remove content or remove users. We may also use automated tools to filter clearly inappropriate content. We act on abuse reports promptly. Abusive users are ejected.
5. Your content
You own the content you create. By posting to community spaces (prayer wall, chat, testimonies, comments) you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content to other members as part of operating the service. You are responsible for what you share and confirm you have the right to share it.
6. Donations
Donations made through the app are processed by Stripe and are voluntary. Unless stated otherwise, donations are non-refundable. They support the ministry and development of the platform.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, or by following our account deletion instructions. Deletion is permanent.
8. Third-party services
The app relies on Supabase, LiveKit, Firebase, Stripe, and embedded YouTube playback. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms.
9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep the altar always live, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. The app provides spiritual and community support and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice.
10. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms; we will revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
